FULL IMMERSION WEEK · INDIVIDUAL OR SMALL GROUP
Full Immersion Week. One intensive week of Italian, renewable.
One week. Monday to Friday. Italian, all day, with people who do this for a living. When you need to move fast - a relocation that starts next month, a deal in Italian, a conference, a partner family you want to meet on their terms - this is the format.
Choose between two daily rhythms: half-day (mornings only) if you want intensity but still keep your afternoons for work or for the city; or full-day (mornings + afternoons, with lunch included) when you want to spend the whole working day inside the language. Lunch is taken with your teacher, in Italian - so the immersion does not stop when the lesson ends.
The week is renewable: extend by another week, and another, as far as the calendar (and the energy) takes you. Many of our corporate clients run two consecutive weeks at onboarding, then a follow-up week three months later. Private students often book a single intensive week before a move and renew after arrival.

How the format works
Two formulas. Half-day: mornings only, Monday to Friday, intensive Italian with one or two teachers rotating. Full-day: mornings + afternoons, with lunch included and taken in Italian with your teacher - a real meal, not a sandwich break, and the language never stops. The full-day formula is the one our corporate teams use most - it produces the biggest jump in confidence in five days.
Format. Available individual (one-to-one) or small group (your team, your family, your study partners - up to 6 people maximum sharing roughly the same level). We do not mix you with strangers in this format.
Level. Any level, from absolute beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). We test you in advance by a short video call, so day one starts at exactly the right level.
Duration. From 1 to 12 consecutive weeks. Book one week, decide on Friday whether to renew - if your week is going well and the calendar allows, you can extend in place. Many learners run two or three consecutive weeks; long-stay executives have run twelve.
Day one: we scope, then we build
The first morning is a working session - not a typical lesson. You sit down with your lead teacher and together you map: where your Italian is today, where you need it to be by Friday, the situations you need to handle (a board meeting, a contract negotiation, a partner family lunch, a conference panel, a relocation arrival), and the vocabulary and structures that will actually move the needle for you in five days.
From the second session onward, the rest of the week is built around your answers - not around a fixed syllabus. This is what separates Full Immersion Week from a generic intensive course: every block of the week earns its place against your goal.
Daily schedule
Both formulas run Monday to Friday. Exact times are confirmed at enrolment based on teacher availability and your preferences.
Half-day · mornings. 9:00 - 10:30 first block
10:30 - 10:45 coffee break
10:45 - 12:15 second block
Afternoons free for work, the city, or independent practice.
Full-day · mornings + afternoons + lunch. 9:00 - 12:15 morning blocks (with break)
12:30 - 13:30 lunch with your teacher, in Italian (included in tuition)
14:00 - 16:00 afternoon block: conversation, applied vocabulary, role-play around your real work or daily life.
What is included
Half-day formula. Teaching (mornings, Mon-Fri), level-test on day one, all course materials (printed and digital), end-of-week progress report, certificate of attendance with CEFR level, access to the Academy outside class hours (library, common areas, study spaces).
Full-day formula. Everything above, plus: afternoon block (Mon-Fri), lunch with your teacher every day, Mon-Fri, included in the tuition - taken at the Academy or at a nearby trattoria selected by your teacher (still in Italian), and one accompanied afternoon walk through the city in Italian (Wed or Thu, depending on the week's rhythm).
Not included (we can book on request): accommodation, transfers, extra excursions, exam fees (CILS / CELI), evening cultural programme.
Pricing & quote
Full Immersion Week is priced per learner per week, with separate rates for half-day vs full-day and for individual vs small-group configurations. Full-day pricing includes lunch with the teacher.
Because every immersion week is built around your situation - your level, your city, your sector vocabulary, whether you bring colleagues or family - we send a quote within one working day. Tell us the format you want and we tailor the rest.
Request a quote - we reply within one working day with the exact week-by-week price for your configuration (half-day / full-day, individual / small group, city, week of arrival).
Start dates
Full Immersion Week starts any Monday of the year - subject to teacher availability. Book at least 10 working days in advance for the smoothest onboarding (level test, teacher matching, lunch reservations for the full-day formula).
Need to start this Monday? Write to us - we will tell you within hours whether we can accommodate.
Who Full Immersion Week is for
Companies: a senior hire relocating to an Italian office, a leadership team preparing for an Italian counterpart, a project team that needs working Italian before a kickoff. We have run this format for engineers, executives, lawyers, doctors, designers, and hospitality leadership across all four campuses.
Private students: professionals moving to Italy for the first time, retirees buying a house in a specific region, partners of Italians who want to talk to their in-laws without help, performers and academics with a deadline. If you have a clear goal and a short window, this is the format.
If your situation is longer-term (months, not weeks), look at Standard, Light, or Long-term instead.
Renewing & extending into a longer programme
Many learners book one week, then renew on the spot. If after one or two weeks you want to keep the momentum but switch to a more sustainable rhythm, we transition you into Standard or Light with the same teaching team - same building, same teachers, just a different intensity. Corporate teams often pair an opening Full Immersion Week with a follow-up week three months later for measurable retention.
